Our client are a global Financial Services provider, recruiting an experienced Human Resources Business Partner.

This is a senior role with strategic management responsibility. You'll own the Japan HR strategy & report directly to regional HQ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain effective HR business partnerships.
• Develop strategic HR initiatives and manage implementation.
• Own performance management process & annual compensation reviews.
• Provide advice on local employment laws, manage compliance, and handle employee relations issues.
• Support diversity and inclusion programs.
• Implement employee engagement strategies.
• Oversee talent acquisition; manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, manage succession planning.

Role Requirements:

• 8-10 years of relevant HR experience.
• Experience in asset management or financial services (preferred).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of Japanese labor law.
• Fluent in both Japanese and English.
