Regional HR Director (Japan & Korea) 人事ディレクター (日本・韓国)
Our client are a global pharma group, recruiting a regional HR Director to lead all Human Resources staff / functions for both Japan and Korea.
You'll be based in Tokyo, but have access to flexible / remote work arrangements. You'll also have the opportunity to travel regularly.
Responsibilities:
- Develop HR strategies in collaboration with regional executive leadership.
- Lead initiatives in culture, engagement, capability building, reward strategies, and organizational design.
- Design recruitment / employer branding strategies.
- Oversee talent management, performance development, and succession planning.
- Manage compensation & benefits in collaboration with global HR.
- Manage benefit programs in collaboration with global counterparts.
- Educate and train line managers on effective management practices and relevant regulations.
- Oversee HR operations, including payroll and annual leave tracking.
- Ensure HR compliance.
- Manage relationships with labor unions in both Japan and Korea.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of HR experience
- At least 4-5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in Life Sciences, FMCG, or regulated industries (preferred).
