A Japan-based B2B AI product company with an established global customer base is expanding its platform team. This company is already selling its product worldwide, supporting enterprise customers across multiple regions.
Rather than chasing a broad market, the product focuses on a highly specialized niche—a complex problem space where deep technical expertise, security, and reliability truly matter.
To support continued global growth, the team is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen the reliability and scalability of its production systems.
Compensation is highly competitive and, in many cases, exceeds packages offered by some global tech companies operating in Japan.
Responsibilities
  • Own reliability and operations for a globally deployed SaaS platform
  • Support production systems for web applications
  • Improve system stability through automation and CI/CD
  • Operate containerized services using Kubernetes
  • Work closely with engineers to keep systems scalable and resilient
Requirements
  • Years of experience in SRE, Platform, or Infrastructure engineering
  • Experience supporting SaaS products in production
  • Experience working with web applications
  • Proficiency in Go or Python for automation and tooling
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with major cloud platforms
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools
  • Familiarity with container orchestration
