IT Business Manager

Position Overview:

As an IT Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives. Your expertise in financial planning, resource allocation, and understanding of OPEX, CAPEX, and depreciation cycles will be essential. Fluent communication in both Japanese and English is required.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

   • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute IT strategies.
   • Ensure technology initiatives support business goals and enhance operational efficiency.
   • Monitor industry trends and assess their impact on the organization.

2. Financial Management:

   • Manage IT budgets, including OPEX and CAPEX.
   • Analyze financial data to optimize resource allocation.
   • Understand depreciation cycles and asset lifecycles.

3. Resource Allocation and Planning:

   • Work closely with department heads to allocate resources effectively.
   • Ensure optimal utilization of IT assets.
   • Oversee procurement and maintenance of fixed assets.

4. Compliance and Risk Management:

   • Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
   • Mitigate IT-related risks and maintain data security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Welcome expat or Japanese candidates with native level Japanese speaker with strong English proficiency.
• Proven experience in IT management, preferably in a multinational context.
• In-depth knowledge of OPEX, CAPEX, and financial planning, especially for IT related topics
• Familiarity with fixed asset management and resource optimization.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL).
• Industry-specific experience (e.g., technology, financial services).
