HR Director

Our client is a leading name in the luxury food and beverage sector with 30 years of success in Tokyo. Known for its unique products and minimal competition, the company is in a growth phase, offering a great opportunity for strong HR leadership.

The HR Director will oversee all Human Resources functions, including hiring, payroll, general affairs, and training. The role involves improving commission and bonus structures and enhancing training programs to boost customer service and brand image. The HR Director will manage a team of five, promoting a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Lead recruitment efforts to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • - Strengthen employer branding and develop strategies to keep employee turnover low.
  • - Improve staffing reports for better insights.
  • - Design sales commission plans to enhance staff performance.
  • - Update performance bonuses to match company goals.
  • - Manage payroll, ensuring it aligns with raises, bonuses, and promotions.
  • - Enhance training programs to meet luxury brand standards.
  • - Work with Retail and Marketing to create effective sales and product training.
  • - Develop new training methods, including mobile learning tools.


Qualifications:

  • - Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
  • - 3-5 years of HR management experience, including team leadership.
  • - Good understanding of the retail industry; production knowledge is a plus.
  • - Strong communication skills, with a focus on confidentiality.
  • - Proactive leader with a strategic mindset.
  • - Fluent in English and business-level Japanese.
