Head of Operations - Financial Services Sector

We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to enhance efficiency and support growth. This role involves creating and executing business strategies that match company goals, ensuring compliance with Japanese regulations, and leading a high-performing team. You will guide operations, work with industry leaders, and help grow a respected financial services company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and apply operational strategies that align with company goals.
- Develop policies to improve efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage daily operations to support various business areas.
- Lead and support the operations team, promoting accountability and improvement.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Address operational issues proactively and improve processes.
- Monitor performance and find ways to optimize operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes in Japan.
- Take on additional projects to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field. Understanding of Japanese financial markets is a plus.
- Over 10 years of experience in brokerage operations, settlements, and custody, ideally in an online financial services setting.
- At least 5 years in management roles with a successful history of leading teams and projects.
- Strong leadership skills in diverse environments.
- Fluent in English and Japanese with excellent communication skills.
- Proven expertise in operational management and project management in financial services.
- Strong analytical skills focused on risk management and process improvement.
