Credit Risk Management, Global Financial Services
Location: Tokyo
Seniority: Roles available from Associate to VP-grade.
Our client are a global financial services company, expanding in Tokyo. They are seeking Credit Risk Management professionals at a variety of seniorities.
This is a rare opportunity that does not require Japanese language fluency. Japanese ability is preferred, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze credit risk for affiliates in Asia, UK, and US.
- Conduct credit reviews and negotiate agreements, focusing on offshore hedge fund clients.
- Work with global risk colleagues to manage credit risks for financial institutions and hedge funds, with an emphasis on security transactions.
- Support the assessment of new business ventures from a credit risk viewpoint.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in global risk management or extensive credit review of institutional clients.
- Knowledge of derivatives, repo/stock lending.
- Fluency in Japanese (preferred, but not mandatory)
