Our client, a growing travel company, is seeking a Global Field Operations Manager to join their team in Japan, focusing on delivering exceptional travel experiences in Asia. This role offers the opportunity to lead a global team, develop strategic relationships, and ensure high-standard client experiences across all destinations. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead global team of tour leaders and guides
- Develop and implement Field Operations strategy
- Ensure adherence to sustainability policies
- Provide coaching and training to Field Operations Team Leaders
- Manage annual Field Operations budget
- Strengthen inter-functional relationships with Sales and Marketing
- Conduct market and competitor analysis
- Oversee recruitment and training of tour leaders and guides

Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of the tourism industry within Asia
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams
- Experience leading tours for diverse client bases
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing management staff
- Proven experience devising and implementing new strategies
- Comprehensive understanding of networking opportunities
- Spoken and written Japanese equivalent to JLPT N2 is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in a leadership role in a travel business is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in setting and managing large budgets is preferred but not mandatory
