Financial Controller (Major Tokyo Hotel) - Team Management Role
Our client are a leading hotel group, recruiting a Financial Controller for a newly-opening major property.
This is a management role with team leadership responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Lead and mentor the finance team.
- - Manage cash flow, accounts, and financial transactions.
- - Prepare and manage budgets.
- - Provide financial reports to the General Manager, VP Finance, and other stakeholders.
- - Work with Hotel General Managers on P&L accounts.
- - Oversee month-end financial reporting to Head Office and Owner.
- - Review reconciliations and monthly management accounts.
- - Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- - Create and review monthly profit forecasts.
- - Manage weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
- - Ensure compliance with tax and other regulations.
Qualifications:
- - 7+ years of relevant working experience.
- - Qualified accountant (preferred).
- - Experience in a hotel chain or group (preferred).
- - Team leadership ability.
- - Strong budgeting and forecasting skills.
- - Must be fluent in Japanese.
