Financial Controller (Major Tokyo Hotel) - Team Management Role

Our client are a leading hotel group, recruiting a Financial Controller for a newly-opening major property.

This is a management role with team leadership responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Lead and mentor the finance team.
• - Manage cash flow, accounts, and financial transactions.
• - Prepare and manage budgets.
• - Provide financial reports to the General Manager, VP Finance, and other stakeholders.
• - Work with Hotel General Managers on P&L accounts.
• - Oversee month-end financial reporting to Head Office and Owner.
• - Review reconciliations and monthly management accounts.
• - Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• - Create and review monthly profit forecasts.
• - Manage weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• - Ensure compliance with tax and other regulations.

Qualifications:

• - 7+ years of relevant working experience.
• - Qualified accountant (preferred).
• - Experience in a hotel chain or group (preferred).
• - Team leadership ability.
• - Strong budgeting and forecasting skills.
• - Must be fluent in Japanese.
