Finance Manager (Global Retail)

Our client are a global multinational retail company searching for a Finance Manager. This is a chance to advance your career and take strategic responsibility at a global market leader with a strong & stable presence in Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end closing processes
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Reconcile accounts; oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and monthly financial analyses, & identify variances.
• Improve financial strategies; manage budgets and costs.
• Maintain compliance with both local and international financial regulations (such as J-SOX and US GAAP).

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant experience accounting / finance.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred).
• Experience in a multinational corporation (preferred).
• Understanding of US GAAP, Japanese GAAP, and J-SOX.
• Innovative mindset; able to look for new solutions.
• Fluency in Japanese.
