Duty Manager (Tokyo Hotel)

Our client are a global hotel group, recruiting a Duty Manager for an international hotel in Tokyo.
This is an opportunity for someone experienced in front office / guest service functions to step up their career, and take a higher level of manager responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk and guest relations teams.
- Lead regular staff meetings to ensure efficient communication and operations.
- Coordinate for VIP and special guest arrivals and departures.
- Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations, particularly during high-traffic periods.
- Oversee cash handling, foreign exchange reserves, and application of discounts and upgrades.
- Take ownership of emergency response procedures.
- Work with department heads on budgeting and staffing plans.
Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience in front office or guest services.
- Strong ability in risk management
- OPERA systems profiency.
- MUST be fluent in Japanese.
