Risk Manager position at a top global firm with overseas branches

Position Title: Country Risk Manager

Job location: Tokyo

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring and reporting of miscellaneous risk indicators
• Proactively conduct routine analysis for market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk
• Data extraction, creating regular and ad-hoc reports
• Manage regulatory or internal reporting, preparation of limit review reports
• Partner with COO, Country Head and other Risk Management Teams globally
• Key stakeholder for local and regional risk related projects

Qualifications/Attributes:

• Five or more years of relevant experience
• Finance or Business related degree
• Knowledge of financial products, including bonds, futures, derivatives, and equity
• Effective in teams, quick to pick things up, self-driven, with a strong sense of responsibility
• Fluent in Japanese, Business English
