Our client are a leader in consumer goods retail, searching for an experienced strategist to take a role in strategic business planning and development. You will lead growth and optimization initiatives for various categories of consumer goods.

Responsibilities:

• Set and oversee sales and profit targets for product categories, including budget management.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to develop and implement sales strategies.
• Identify and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal procurement terms.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors and manufacturers.
• Plan and execute web-based marketing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Work closely with internal teams to improve operations and product quality.
• Engage in significant company projects, contributing to strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience in one or more of the following: sales, buying, merchandising, or consulting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Japanese fluency is mandatory.
