Our client, a multinational company in the retail and consumer goods industry, is seeking an Accounting Specialist for their optical business. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to standardize accounting practices and collaborate closely with the Japan Accounting team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
- Process invoices and prepare vouchers
- Handle credit management tasks
- Support internal and external audits
- Manage data entry and uploads into SAP
- Collaborate with Japan Accounting team for standardizing practices
- Respond to inquiries from headquarters in Italy
- Manage fixed asset and inventory records
- 3+ years of accounting experience in inventory-based or multinational environment
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred but not mandatory
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency
- Knowledge of financial controls and accounting principles
- Experience with credit management and invoice processing
- Experience in audit support and regulatory inquiries
