A startup based in Japan is recruiting for Technical PR. The company has been growing massively over the last 2 years and cleared several rounds of funding already.

They are providing messenger-driven interactive ad service integrated in most of the social media platform as well as other major brands owning an ecommerce website.

To increase and improve their coverage not only in Japan but overseas as well they are now looking for a Technical PR person that will specifically target the engineers and be the technical expert and brand ambassador of the company.

Your Responsibilities

• Create and execute PR projects to achieve long and short-term goals
• Candidate targeting and media selection
• Direction of content design, creation and quality assurance (e.g. articles, videos etc.)
• Design direction of overseas recruitment page
• Unification of branding and messaging as a company in cooperation with the in-house PR team
• Company branding on Social Media platforms
• Sponsoring and mediation for events such as hackathons and other tech events

The Skills and Experience You Need To Succeed

• 5+ years in PR/marketing or branding roles
• Work experience as an engineer or familiarity with engineering terminology and industry knowledge
• Experience in launching PR programs
• Knowledge in designing/operating/managing web pages/sites
• Experience in creating online contents (videos. articles, podcasts)
• Business Japanese and English capabilities
