An American financial institution with a successful history on the Fortune500 list is looking for a Tax Manager (Japan) based in Tokyo.

Your Responsibilities

• Advice on tax returns, including direct and indirect taxes 
• Review of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting, including submission of reporting.
• Support Head of Tax in reviewing new business proposals and transactions, audits and accounting, transfer pricing, risk management and employee related tax matters
• Providing advice to stakeholders
• Providing tax advice to global offices

The Skills and Experience You Need To Succeed

• Fluency in Japanese and English
• Experienced with Japanese tax laws and regulations
• 8-10 years of Japanese taxation experience in Corporate Firms, In-house and/or Big 4 
• Experience working with tax audits
• Japan Tax Zeirishi
