Our Client

Specialized Group’s client has a digital team that develops high-level software solutions. They work closely with large companies in Japan to support their digital transformation or digital product development. They have successfully assisted various companies with projects covering Recommender System, RFID with Drone, Computer vision etc.

The digital team operates like an agile data-driven tech start-up.

They are looking to add a highly-skilled Software Architect specialist to work closely with the current team on designing these solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• You will build prototypes based on customer's needs but also based on our client's internal ideas and R&D generated concepts. 
• You will architect a concept, test it and iterate to go from a prototype based solution to an actual product if the solution is viable. 
• You will research the latest technologies to be able to offer the most advanced solutions to the clients. 

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• 10 years' experience in software development/architecture involving new technologies.
• Masters in information technology or related topics.
• Project-based experience is preferable (over product).
• Any consulting experience would be a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Any Japanese language skills would be a strong plus.
• Experience with several of the following: Python, Go, Lua, C/C++/C#, R, Spring, React, Angular, Vue.
• Experience designing the architecture of new solutions.
• Experience in a startup or lab would be a plus.
• We accept applications from outside of Japan for high-level candidates.
