Responsibilities:
Initial responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following.
- Distribution
- Support the International Capital Markets in distribution of the company mandated sales opportunities in Japan
- Coordinate global road shows in Japan and investor road shows around the world
- Guide Japanese investors through investment process
- Business Development
- Arrange meetings with and make presentations to Japanese investors in relation to outbound investment and conferences
- Support local and regional business pitches
- Analyze Japanese investor market and provide input into the development of CRM plans
- Be eyes and ears in Japan market for International Capital Markets
- New business originations from existing Japanese owners or buyside advisory
- Cross-sell Capital Markets products/services (equity, debt and funds advisory) to Japanese investors
Required Qualifications & Experiences:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in investment management, consulting, banking or real estate, with ideally experience of both equity and debt investment;
- Ideal candidate will have experience in international investment and related activities etc. preferably in real estate and/or alternative assets, including having spent a period of time working in a key offshore market such as US, UK or Australia
- Native Japanese speaker and very fluent in English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English;
- Client servicing-oriented mind-set;
