A leading Global Client operating in Japan is seeking to further expand their business capabilities through the hiring of a Policy Research Analyst for their Tokyo Office. 

Your Responsibilities

• Research key coverage areas on behalf of senior leadership 
• Research private and public market trends and patterns 
• Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data  
• Collect data and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations for presentation to senior staff inside and outside of Japan 
• Work independently on assigned research tasks 

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• Strong report writing skills 
• Must be able to organize and structure writing to support a main idea concisely and logically 
• Hard-working and intellectually curious personality combined with an independent and entrepreneurial mindset 
• Persistence and creative thinking 
• Familiarity with basic research, publication, and style standards. 
• Superior communication skills, including a demonstrable ability in writing effectively 
• Fluency in both Japanese and English (reading and writing)
