This is a newly created Digital Marketing Manager position available for a foreign consumer product company based in Japan. This position was newly created to lead all the Digital Marketing initiatives for Japan and lead the current digital manager (HC of 2)
The company is a global consumer company based in Europe & US. They have both distributor business model (wholesales) and directly owned channels including owned retail and E-commerce. They sell the number 1 product in their category for Japan and global.
Lead overall digital & online activities improving its capability, coordinating the digital ATL activities, CRM, and online purchase touchpoint from the Marketing point of view. Supervise the digital / CRM managers, and closely work with sales E-commerce team and external agencies to facilitate the smooth digital consumer experience from attention to purchase.
The scope of work covers below 3 areas:
1) Digital ATL Communication: Develop and manage quality digital advertisement campaigns aligned with the Product and Communication strategies, closely working with the Product team and the Media Agency. Manage and update the Brand website pages, working closely with the Product Managers, Retail Store Team and the CS team.
2) E-commerce / Online Experience: Develop and manage effective E-commerce / online strategy, optimizing the online purchase journey including Amazon, own e-com, and SDA e-com contents and searchability, working closely with E-com sales team.
3) CRM: Lead and facilitate the CRM project working transversally with the multiple internal stakeholders. Manage the process working with the CRM Agency and the global CRM team to improve the customers' Brand engagement experience.
