Overview:
A globally renowned luxury brand is seeking a Training & Development Manager to oversee and enhance employee training initiatives. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the brand's legacy of sophisticated elegance and supporting career development through the implementation of effective training programs.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage training schedules with internal teams (trainers, retail, stores, and other departments).
- Edit and manage training applications and materials.
- Monitor and report attendance and participant status.
- Localize and refine global training content for the Japanese market.
- Communicate with global teams and external partners (e.g., translation and training companies).
- Handle administrative tasks such as expense management and application processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in training or a related field within a mid-sized company (500-700 employees).
- Experience in the retail industry.
- 3+ years of team management experience.
- Strong PC skills (Excel proficiency, including IF and VLOOKUP functions; Word; PowerPoint).
- Native Japanese with business-level English proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills.
