Tier 1 global SaaS-Senior Cloud Infastructure Engineer

Our client-an elite global SaaS company is expanding their business in Japan. They are looking to hire a senior cloud infrastructure engineer for their new business in Japan. They are known for having a great brandname, elite level international teams, low turnover and products here are made with the highest of quality with large number of users.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, Networking, DevOps, or continuous integration/delivery.
• Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
• Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in Japanese and English with local and international stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with GCP techniques such as prompt engineering, dual encoders, and embedding vectors.
• Experience building prototypes or applications.
• Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management.
