Senior FP&A Analyst (up to 8-10M salary, US Sports Retail)

We are looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join a leading sports retail company in Tokyo. This role focuses on improving global reporting and forecasting to add business value. The successful candidate will use their technical, data analytics, and visualization skills to analyze complex data. They will work closely with different teams and senior management to make a significant impact in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Consolidate and report financial actuals and forecasts for the Japan division to the global headquarters.
- Serve as a financial partner to departments like Product Marketing, HR, General Management, and IT, focusing on optimizing expenses.
- Work with cost center owners to develop strategic operating expense plans.
- Handle capital expense requests, including planning, payback calculations, and cost assessments.
- Collaborate with local HR on personnel cost planning and with global headquarters on modeling tools.
- Ensure system performance for consolidation and reporting, and act as the local expert for reporting tools.
- Support local management with ad hoc business requests.
- Conduct month-end close and forecast processes as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Over 5 years of experience in corporate finance.
- Proficient in financial systems and software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle EBS, Business Objects, DOMO, and PBCS.
- Strong analytical skills for both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Japanese and English.

- 定量的および定性的データのための強力な分析スキル。
- 優れたプレゼンテーション、報告、およびコミュニケーション能力。
