Our client are a global retail group, seeking a Senior Finance Officer with a strong background in finance and analysis.

You will be responsible for driving the company's financial strategy through detailed budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, contributing to ongoing growth.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales data to identify variances from budget and forecast, and recommend corrective actions.
• Generate reports on sales, inventory, and store profitability to support strategic decisions.
• Monitor margins across categories and stores to ensure financial efficiency.
• Analyze store performance through KPIs to identify improvement areas.
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and manage system upload processes.
• Conduct sales audits and account reconciliations for sales and COGS integrity.
• Supervise inventory counts and analyze shrinkage reports to mitigate risks.
• Assist in audit preparations and collaborate with IT on system improvements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years finance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and understanding of accounting principles.
• Fluent in both Japanese and English.
• Experience with financial reporting systems like HFM, JDE, SAP preferred.
