Our client are a global games-related company, looking for a Senior Accountant. You'll report directly to the Head of Finance, and handle a wide range of accounting tasks, financial reporting, and analytical duties.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly journal entries and support the month-end close process.
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and address discrepancies.
• Develop process improvement initiatives.
• Process outgoing payments according to company policies.
• Analyze monthly revenue and expense reports.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations and keep financial records organized.
• Generate financial analyses and reports for performance assessment.
• Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Coordinate with auditors for compliance and audit processes.
• Prepare and file various tax returns
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in financial software upgrades.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis.
• A solid understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
• Good communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with financial software upgrades is a plus.
• Knowledge of international operations (preferred).
• Fluency in Japanese is mandatory.
