Our client are a global games-related company, looking for a Senior Accountant. You'll report directly to the Head of Finance, and handle a wide range of accounting tasks, financial reporting, and analytical duties.

Responsibilities
- Execute monthly journal entries and support the month-end close process.
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts and address discrepancies.
- Develop process improvement initiatives.
- Process outgoing payments according to company policies.
- Analyze monthly revenue and expense reports.
- Perform daily cash reconciliations and keep financial records organized.
- Generate financial analyses and reports for performance assessment.
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Coordinate with auditors for compliance and audit processes.
- Prepare and file various tax returns
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in financial software upgrades.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis.
- A solid understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
- Good communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with financial software upgrades is a plus.
- Knowledge of international operations (preferred).
- Fluency in Japanese is mandatory.
