Sales Manager - (Korean Market)

We are looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth in the Korean market for a top hotel management company in Japan. This role focuses on building strong partnerships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and tour operators in Korea. The successful candidate will help increase revenue by promoting hotel services and securing group bookings and corporate contracts from Korea.


Key Responsibilities
  • - Create and implement a sales strategy for group tours, corporate travel, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) in the Korean market.
  • - Build and maintain strong relationships with Korean travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients.
  • - Identify business opportunities and negotiate contracts to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • - Work with marketing and operations teams to develop customized packages and promotions for Korean travelers.
  • - Conduct market research to stay informed about competitors and client needs.
  • - Represent the company at travel fairs, roadshows, and networking events in Korea and Japan.
  • - Ensure effective communication and collaboration with Korean partners and internal departments like Reservations, Front Office, and F&B.
  • - Provide detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and strategic insights.
  • - Deliver excellent client service to build long-term partnerships and enhance brand loyalty.


Qualifications & Skills
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • - 3–5 years of sales experience in the hotel or tourism sector, focusing on the Korean market.
  • - Strong connections with Korean travel agencies, DMCs, and corporate clients.
  • - Fluent in Korean and English; Japanese is a plus.
  • - Proven record of achieving sales goals.
  • - Highly organized, proactive, and culturally aware.
  • - Willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • - Experience with inbound group tours or MICE business from Korea.
  • - Understanding of Korean travel preferences and booking platforms.
  • - Familiarity with luxury or upscale hospitality markets.
