A leading finance sector client is searching for a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join their Tokyo office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle office tasks including planning and network design.
• Engage directly in data centre activities.
• Resolve network issues related to routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Work with global infrastructure teams in English and Japanese.
• Undertake weekend tasks as needed by operations.

Requirements:

• Understand OSI Layers 1-4 and internetworking.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and Checkpoint hardware.
• Prior work in data centres.
• Speak and write in English and Japanese.
• Know Linux environments, preferably RHEL.
• Experience in DC network support and financial networks.
• Certifications in Cisco, Juniper, or Checkpoint are a plus.
• Familiarity with programming, especially JavaScript or Python, is beneficial.
