Our client are a financial advisory group seeking an M&A Associate for based in Tokyo.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee M&A transactions and business development activities.
• Engage in various live deals, from sell/buy-side M&A to spin-offs and advisory processes.
• Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and comprehensive financial analyses.
• Lead transaction execution processes, coordinating resources and due diligence.
• Collaborate with external entities including legal teams, accountants, and consultants.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory norms and maintain client confidentiality.
• Supervise and guide analyst teams, streamlining project processes.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience, with 1-2 years in corporate finance or investment banking.
• Prior M&A and Industrials experience is a plus.
• Proficient in financial modeling, projections, and statement analyses.
• Team-oriented approach
• Experience in international collaboration (preferred).
