M&A Analyst / Associate - Investment Banking M&Aアナリスト/アソシエイト - 投資銀行

My client, a global investment bank, is continuing its hiring strategy in 2026.

With their organic approach to building a stable and sustainable investment banking division in Japan, they are looking for a talented M&A Analyst or Associate to join their growing team.

With a healthy pipeline of deal flow, the majority of work will be execution based where you will be able to use your modelling and valuation skillset.

In addition, they have a flat team structure, where you will work alongside senior bankers on deals across all industry sectors, domestic and cross-border.

Responsibilities

• Strategic advisory for mergers and acquisitions
• Analyzing complex and sophisticated financial data
• End to end execution process including due diligence, valuation and financial modeling
• Create reports and provide critical recommendations
• In-depth financial and economic research
• Partner with senior bankers and the advisory team

Skills & Qualifications

• 1-6 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate advisory or consultancy
• Proactive, passionate and able to work under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to present
• Analytical, quantitative and possess the ability to influence
• Bachelor’s degree and above
• Fluent in Japanese, business English
