Legal Counsel - Top Luxury Brand

Specialized Group are working with one of the largest luxury cosmetic brands in the world who are looking to hire a Legal Counsel for their Japan office.

This is a standalone position that will report to the General Counsel in Japan and would be in charge of all data privacy related matters in their Japan operations.

Specifically, you would handle:

• Providing legal support and advising other internal global teams on various digital projects to ensure business goals are achieved
• Draft, review and negotiate various contracts related to data privacy and other areas such as commercial transactions and supply chain
• Monitor internal data privacy legislation and address any breaches in an efficient manner
• Ensure best practices within internal operational and functional departments

Requirements:

• Law Degree
• 5+ years of experience working in-house or at a private practice
• Good working knowledge of data privacy and commercial contract law
• Fluency in Japanese and English
