Our client is a growing company in the WEB 3.0 and FinTech sectors. They are in the process of setting up a financial lab and are building an engineering team for new projects.

The Lead Backend Engineer will mainly work on server-side development. This role also involves overseeing the engineering team and coordinating with Product Managers and System Architects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design and build server-side architecture.
• Develop advanced prototypes and engine modules.
• Lead server and client-side development efforts.
• Communicate with team members to meet project goals.

Key Qualifications

• At least 10 years of engineering experience.
• Past experience as a technical lead on at least 3 projects.
• Strong skills in Java, specifically in Spring and J2EE.
• Experience in building high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Knowledge of network protocols like TCP/IP and HTTPS.
• Familiarity with RDBMS concepts and Cloud or Server File Systems.
