Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Japanese consumption tax returns.
• Handle overseas VAT filings and consultations.
• Develop proposals and contracts.
• Participate in client meetings; provide advice to clients.
• Prepare tax returns and investigation reports.
• Manage project activities.
• Use English to communicate with international clients and internal teams.
• Lead teams, sales activities, and projects (manager level).

Qualifications:

• Relevant Accounting / Finance experience or degree.
• Relevant certification (eg. CPA, CTA, etc.) preferred.
• Knowledge of Japanese consumption tax, VAT, and GST.
• Experience in tax return preparation and review (preferred).
• People management experience (preferred for Manager level).
• Project management experience.
• Must be fluent in Japanese.
