This newly launched position will report directly to the Head of People APAC, based in Singapore with a dotted reporting line to the local CEO.


HR Responsibilities:
・ Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, providing necessary support to new and existing employees throughout.
・ Develop and implement HR infrastructure including employee handbooks and compliant people practices.
・ Offer guidance to management and support employees with workplace issues and concerns.
・ Handles transactional HR duties such as benefits enrollment, payroll management, HRIS maintenance and benefits/payroll reconciliation with the finance team.
・ Coordinate recruitment activities and oversee internship program
・ Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements during monthly payroll processing
・ Drive the execution of corporate initiatives and programs including employee engagement, performance management, talent development including DE&I.
・ Lead or assist in both global and regional people-related projects and initiatives.


Operations Responsibilities:
・ Executive Support - Prepare for and assist in Board of Directors' meeting in Japan.
・ Process Improvement - Identify opportunities to streamline operations and boost productivity through process enhancements.
・ Interdepartmental Collaboration - Foster communication and collaboration among teams to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency.
・ Operations Management - Oversee daily operations to maintain smooth functioning and ensure optimal efficiency. Additionally, to oversee the maintenance and updating of operational policies and communications to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.


Requirements:

・ Native level Japaense and business level English
・ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
・ Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
・ Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
・ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office
・ Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset
・ Good knowledge of local labour statutory regulations
・ Experience and knowledge of payroll operations.


Knowledge/Skills:
・ Strong influencing skills - handles complex and difficult situations with thought and confidence.
・ Excellent communication skills and understanding of working internationally as well as a strong sense of culture sensitivity.
・ Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather data, organise, analyse, and develop action plans in a clear and concise manner.
・ Well versed in HRIS system, preferably PeopleSoft.
・ Strong/fluent written and spoken English
・ Highly organised with an attention to details.
