Director of Human Resources – Ultra Luxury Hotel / up to 20M JPY
We are looking for a skilled Director of Human Resources for a well-known luxury hotel in Tokyo. This important role involves leading the HR team and working with both local and international partners to improve operations. You will have the chance to impact the future of luxury hospitality in Tokyo and help build a strong, customer-focused culture within a top global brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all HR activities, including hiring, training, and compliance.
- Advise senior leaders on workforce planning and business impacts.
- Develop reward systems to make the hotel an attractive workplace.
- Promote a culture of high performance, inclusivity, and teamwork.
- Lead HR projects and encourage the use of new technology.
- Work with corporate offices on strategic HR projects.
- Ensure compliance with Japanese labor laws and maintain accurate HR records.
- Act as a coach and trusted advisor to the leadership team.
Qualifications:
- More than 5 years of experience in an HR leadership role, ideally in large organizations.
- Knowledge of Japanese labor law and HR systems.
- Fluent in both Japanese and English.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and people skills.
- Experience in managing change and strategic HR planning.
