The client offers a wide range of services and products, not limited to BtoC and BtoB, including household accounting and asset management services for individuals, back-office Sass services for corporations, and Fintech promotion services for financial institutions. They are a startup team partnering with giant Japanese banks. Take on a pivotal leadership role at a fast-growing tech company delivering large-scale financial and business services used by millions. As the Head of Platform and Reliability Engineering, you’ll lead infrastructure innovation and operational excellence at the core of mission-critical platforms.

What You’ll Do
  • Spearhead platform stability and availability efforts, minimizing downtime and system failures.
  • Define and drive the technical roadmap for platform engineering to boost developer productivity.
  • Lead incident response, ensure infrastructure accountability, and oversee cloud cost optimization.
  • Guide and grow Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to scale technical excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with C-level leadership to align engineering goals with company strategy.
What You Need
  • Strong track record managing complex platform or infrastructure teams at large scale.
  • Experience in web service design, cloud-native development, and DevOps/SRE best practices.
  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools like Datadog or Prometheus.
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English (business level).
  • Strategic mindset and excellent communication skills across technical and executive teams.
