Our client are a well-established global travel company searching for a Head of Finance. The suitable candidate will have experience in managing teams and working in a global, diverse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting, budgeting, tax, treasury, and audit functions, ensuring compliance with local and US GAAP standards.
• Contribute to strategic planning with financial insights that influence business decisions.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, aligning with company policies and meeting regulatory requirements.
• Lead the shift from manual to automated financial processes to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage and develop the finance team, setting objectives and evaluating performance.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the travel industry (preferred).
• MBA or CPA (preferred).
• Comprehensive knowledge of Japan and US GAAP or IFRS.
• Skilled in MS Office and financial management software.
• Fluent in Japanese and English, capable of effective communication.
• Proven leadership skills with a focus on team building and performance.
