Our client, a global leader in legal AI solutions, is seeking a Global Strategic Finance Manager (FP&A) to join their team. This high-impact role offers direct exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions across a rapidly expanding global organization. The position is based in Tokyo with a hybrid work setup, offering full flex working hours and visa support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead budgeting, long-term planning, and rolling forecast processes

- Deliver financial analysis and KPI reporting for management decisions

- Execute M&A transactions with financial modeling and due diligence

- Lead equity and debt financing initiatives and investor communication

- Design and administer equity incentive plans like stock options

- Support CFO in strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategy consulting

- Strong expertise in financial modeling and budgeting

- Business-level English proficiency

- Conversational-level Japanese

- Strong communication skills to engage senior executives

- Experience with SaaS or technology-driven companies is preferred but not mandatory

- Knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting matters is preferred but not mandatory

- Experience with M&A transactions and fundraising activities is preferred but not mandatory
