We are seeking an FP&A Analyst for a key role in financial planning and analysis within a leading FMCG company. This position offers a mix of office and remote work and requires fluency in Japanese and English. You will provide financial insights to support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Analyze monthly profit and loss statements, comparing them with forecasts, budgets, and past data.
- - Work with different departments to create annual budgets and quarterly forecasts using Hyperion.
- - Oversee various profit and loss lines, focusing on Net Sales and Advertising & Promotion expenses.
- - Provide insights to improve business operations, focusing on SKU-level margin reports and ROI assessments.
- - Create financial reports to support management decisions using tools like Power BI.
- - Ensure financial data is accurate and reliable.
Qualifications:
- - Skilled in business analysis, sales forecasting, and assessing product profitability.
- - Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
- - Fluent in both English and Japanese.
- - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- - Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP) and Power BI is a plus.
- - Reports to the Japan Finance Manager.
- - Collaborates with Japan's commercial team and global corporate functions.
