The representative firm is looking to further expand their product offerings (indices and financial data products) here in Japan.
As such, this position will look to further build relationships within financial industry in Japan, whether is it sell-side, buy-side or regional banking institutions, while also being able to find opportunities to recommend key products to those existing and potential clients.
Reporting to the Sales Head, and working within the APAC Sales Team, the individual will be responsible for relationship management and business development.
Learn and develop a deep understanding of the firm's product offering and the competitive landscape with a view to building an ongoing analysis and development of own sales skills.
Brings awareness of client requirements back to the business, which will be used to shape; marketing plans, existing/new product development, and tailored proposals.
Develops and maintain internal and external relationships with key decision makers.
Experience and Qualifications Required
3 years or more experience within in sales, business development, client servicing or relationship management within the financial services industry
Strong understanding of investment management process and across asset classes in the global financial markets (equity, fixed income, sustainable investment)
Degree or equivalent experience. Master degree of Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or Engineering is plus.
Business level proficiency in English and full command of Japanese language in business setting.
