Finance Manager (10-14m JPY, Based in Aichi, Conversational Japanese OK)

We are looking for experienced finance professionals to join a leading company in the events industry based in Aichi, Japan, as a Finance Manager. This role offers the chance to lead financial operations and strategic planning in a global setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage accounting and budget preparations in line with head office goals.
- Oversee account closures to meet international standards and handle monthly financial tasks with external partners.
- Lead quarterly and annual financial closings, create business reports, and manage audits and tax reviews.
- Work with local government agencies for financial reporting and respond to inquiries.
- Conduct financial forecasting, manage cash flow, and handle banking transactions.
- Organize and attend monthly review meetings, manage forecasts, and perform variance analyses.

Qualifications:

- Bookkeeping Level 2 or similar qualification; CPA-like credentials are a plus.
- Over five years of accounting experience with expertise in financial statement disclosure and tax activities.
- Knowledge of Japanese accounting and tax practices, and familiarity with international accounting standards.
- Finance professionals with experience in management accounting.
- Individuals knowledgeable in Japanese and international financial regulations.
- Candidates with strong analytical skills and a strategic approach.
