Position Overview:
They are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead ERP implementation projects with their customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing ERP projects in a global environment and possess strong leadership skills. Native-level Japanese proficiency is a must, as you will collaborate closely with their Japanese-speaking clients and teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage ERP implementation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including software developers, business analysts, and support staff, to ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
- Monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams to ensure clarity on project status and requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users post-implementation to ensure smooth adoption of the ERP system.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to ERP systems and project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically with ERP implementation.
- Proven experience managing ERP projects in a global environment.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency; fluency in English is a plus.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
