Their mission is to unlock the value of complex industrial data — transforming fragmented information (e.g., engineering drawings, supply chain data) into a unified, intelligent data layer powering real-world decision-making.
As an Engineering Manager (Data Platform), you will lead the development of a core data infrastructure that underpins the entire product ecosystem.
This is not a maintenance role — you will be building a newly established data platform organization from the ground up, tackling highly complex challenges in data architecture, scalability, and governance.
You’ll operate at the intersection of technology, product, and business, driving both technical decisions and organizational outcomes.
Requirements:
- Experience managing 10+ engineers in a high-performing engineering organization
- Proven leadership in driving product growth or solving complex technical challenges
- Strong people management experience (hiring, mentoring, performance management)
- Solid technical background in data platforms, distributed systems, or backend architecture
- Fluent Japanese (business level, N1 or equivalent)
