DevOps Engineer (Japanese / English bilingual) - FinTech

Our fintech and consulting client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bilingual DevOps Engineer to join their team of exceptional engineers. They specialize in providing cutting-edge, low-latency financial solutions, including matching engines, pricing engines, market gateways, data feed handlers, smart order routers, and algo suites for capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain a deep understanding of best practices for provisioning and managing AWS ecosystem and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for AWS infrastructure, ensuring provisioning, maintenance, and updates are code-based.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand infrastructure needs and deploy in compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Continuously improve infrastructure automation and deployment processes, reducing manual tasks and minimizing downtime risks.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast and reliable code deployments.
• Automate system operations such as monitoring, log collection, and error tracking for smooth functioning and prompt issue detection and resolution.
• Work closely with security teams to ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements.
• Monitor infrastructure issues, troubleshoot, and develop proactive solutions to prevent recurrence.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, NLB/ALB, and VPC.
• Knowledge of Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles in AWS environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab, with experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience automating system operations using tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Ability to create clear and concise documentation and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Commitment to staying updated with new technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Native-level English and business-level Japanese.

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator is a plus.
