Accounting Manager (Future CFO candidate) - Up to 12M JPY!

Our client are a fast-growing company in the media and SaaS sector. They're looking for an Accounting Manager.

You will take a wide range of responsibility: work with IFRS financial reporting, handle various accounting and tax operations, and be involved in M&A activities and management accounting.

Responsibilities

• - Lead & manage a team.
• - Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• - Manage tax tasks for both parent and domestic subsidiaries.
• - Conduct product-based and segment-based management accounting.
• - Coordinate with external auditors.
• - Implement new accounting standards and manage M&A accounting processes.
• - Manage monthly financial closings and disclosures.
• - Ensure accurate tax calculations and compliance.

Qualifications

• - 4+ years of accounting experience in a publicly listed company.
• - Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial disclosure standards.
• - Team management skills.
• - CPA or tax accountant certification (preferred)
• - Experience in corporate finance and M&A accounting (preferred).
• - Must be fluent in Japanese.
