Our client are a leader in consumer goods / Food & Beverages, recruiting an Accounting Manager.

You'll manage a team, and handle both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations.

Responsibilities

• - Manage a team.
• - Oversee both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• - Perform journal entries; maintain accounting records.
• - Contribute to month-end and year-end closings.
• - Review new trade management systems
• - Design & lead projects to optimize relevant accounting processes.
• - Ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
• - Provide support during audits.

Qualifications

• - 7+ years accounting experience.
• - Experience in consumer goods / FMCG (preferred).
• - Knowledge of inventory accounting and import processes.
• - Proficient in AR and AP processes, ERP systems, and SAP.
• - Experience with SOX compliance.
• - Familiar with rebate customs in Japan.
• - Experience dealing with auditors and tax authorities.
• - Must be fluent in Japanese
