Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience; ideally at least 1 year of management experience

Reporting: Reports to the General Manager and leads the merchandising strategy for all product categories.

Objectives:
1. Maximize growth and profitability to meet financial goals.
2. Collaborate with internal departments to develop and implement effective business strategies.

Responsibilities:
1. Merchandising & Buying:
- Develop market-specific seasonal strategies.
- Ensure assortments reflect brand vision while meeting local needs.
- Monitor merchandise performance and implement corrective actions.

2. Collaborative Support:
- Partner with Retail and Marketing departments to achieve business objectives.
- Coordinate with Visual Merchandising to maintain high presentation standards.

3. Financial Planning:
- Formulate product sales plans and monitor expenditure.
- Work closely with Finance and Merchandise Planner.

4. Business Analysis:
- Analyze business and product performance.
- Share qualitative feedback with other teams to refine buying strategy.

5. Team Leadership & Retail Network Support:
- Visit stores regularly to track performance and gather feedback.
- Develop product training programs for the sales team.
- Lead and direct daily operational activities.

- Strong retail operations knowledge.
- Effective leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Fluent in both Japanese and English.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
