One of the biggest insurance companies in the world is looking for an experienced Actuary.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze and report the level of reserves, the loss ratio, and related profitability KPIs, and conduct actuarial operation under the instruction by the senior actuary, and support to satisfy the requirement of reporting by the internal / external entities
• Improve the efficiency on and improve the data maintenance and analytical method in order to deliver the transparent and timely information as to the profitability
• Under the direction of the actuary manager and senior actuary, analyze and report other profit indicators such as reserve level, loss ratio, etc. , Perform other mathematical work and provide support to meet internal and external reporting requirements

The Skills and Experience You Need To Succeed

• P & C Actuarial operation skills
• Knowledge for modeling techniques
• Practical knowledge for reserves, rating, and P & C insurance product (mainly motor product)
• Understanding on advisory rate system, and P & C practice in Japanese market
• Knowledge for P & C insurance accounting
• Japanese: Native or Fluent (JPLT N3 level minimum)
• English: reading + writing: mandatory / speaking: nice to have
