Summary of job content:
Manages and coordinates the company's BU PT sales function across sub-functions such as sales support and training, territory
sales, parts & services, and key account sales to meet the company's business requirements.
Administers, develops, and grows company's BU PT business activities and revenue from new and existing market segments and
Monitors and assesses market situations and trends in regards to the BU PT business activities to propose marketing, product and
services strategies aimed at strengthening the company's sales position and profitability.
In addition, this position is responsible to develop customized state of the art SGL equipment solutions. Furthermore, this position is
responsible for the design, accurate cost calculation, technical offer preparation incl. specification review and creation of deviation log
in line with the BU business processes in particular with regard to safety, pro-active risk management, costs and quality.
Responsible for BU PT sales-related activities in the defined region and oversees marketing strategies aimed at
strengthening the company's sales position and profitability.
➢ Working within BU PT strategies and policy frameworks, designs, proposes and implements sales strategies, guidelines
and procedures within the policies set by the organization to meet sales requirements supporting short and long-term
➢ Ensures that key account sales goals are achieved through the utilisation and motivation of regional BU PT team members.
➢ Maintains coordination with integral BU PT relevant organization functions and directs the flow of information for sales
activities and transactions, including leads, contracts, global agreements, etc.
➢ Carries out market research aimed at identifying new business developments, trends, and developments in competitors'
➢ Responsible that process design is correctly carried out by PD (support) and selection/performance of equipments (e.g. heat
exchangers, columns…) according to the customer's requirement.
➢ Understanding of customer's process and how to design SGL equipment to best suit the performance/value ratio of client.
➢ Provide technical support to sales colleagues to prepare offer to customers, including calculation of cost and detailing technical
➢ Clarify all technical queries from clients and explain the benefits of solution offered to them from the technical perspective
➢ Gives technical support and acts as consultant internally and externally.
・ Minimum of 8 years professional experience in
technical sales and/or process design environment
of which min. 5 years
o in an international industrial environment

o in a engineering company or a chemical industry
