Our client is looking for a Factory Manager to oversee factory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality control, and monitoring efficiency and cost control.
The Factory Manager will report to the senior management team and will be responsible for managing and motivating the factory staff. As the position is based in Japan, native-level proficiency in Japanese is required.
- Manage the daily operations of the factory, including production, quality control, and cost control.
- Ensure that safety and environmental standards are met.
- Monitor production processes and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Develop and implement production strategies and plans.
- Develop production efficiency and quality targets.
- Monitor and report on progress against targets.
- Maintain and manage the budget.
- Facilitate the recruitment, training, and development of factory staff.
- Manage the performance of factory staff and ensure that they are meeting their targets.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in production management and cost control.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency
